Nadia Satya’s visionary art embraces the entire spectrum of imaginal realms from the “sambhagakaya” of the Tibetans to the nirvanic and astral planes of consciousness of the Theosophists and from what Plato called “ideal archetypes” to Jung’s “collective unconscious”. Dreams, space, oceans and altered states of consciousness-all are part of Nadia’s art.
When I first discovered her art I was mesmerized by the intense feelings, fears, love that guide her pencils. The entire spectrum of inner world seems to be the only true source of inspiration she has. Forget the myths, the legends, ideologies and even human languages because they will never explain on a deep level the human drama but Nadia Satya has managed to decode the entire human existence – one glimpse on her marvelous art and one experiences the inner world itself. She attempts to make the hidden truth not only visible but also sensible by manifesting it in the material world.
Every work of art incorporates the perception of its creator and in the same time a facet of the collective mind. She is one of those shamanic artists that offer the beauty of their souls as a gift to humanity to envision the collective.
The history of art shows us waves after waves of such artists with the mere difference that now days they are easier to recognize and promote. In her case -we’ve seen her talent being shown in Hollywood productions such as “Blade” and “League of Extraordinary Gentleman”.
